BOGURA, Dec 31, 2025 (BSS) - A truck driver was killed in a road accident in the Telipukur area of the district town this morning.

The deceased was identified as Selim Hossain, 40, son of Nazrul Islam of Arjunpur village in Shibganj upazila of the district.

The accident occurred on the Dhaka-Rangpur highway when a truck rammed into another truck that was parked beside the road from behind, killing the driver of the moving vehicle on the spot, said Hafizur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Bogura Kunderhat Highway Police.
