BOGURA, Dec 26, 2025 (BSS) - Bogura district BNP today organized a doa mahfil seeking recovery of party chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia and marking the return of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman to the country after 17 years.

The doa mahfil was held after Jumma prayers at the Baitur Rahman Central Mosque in the district, said District BNP Vice President and Public Prosecutor Advocate Abdul Bashed.

Leaders and activists of BNP and its associate bodies, along with local devotees, participated in the programme.

Among others, District BNP Organizing Secretary Shahid Un Nabi Salam, BNP Media Cell Rajshahi and Rangpur Division Coordinator Kalam Azad, Fisheries and Livestock Affairs Secretary Alhaj Mainul Haque Bakul, Nationalist Lawyers Forum Bogura Unit Organizing Secretary Advocate Shafiqul Islam Shafiq, and joint convener of Matsyajeebi Dal Ariful Islam were present at the doa mahfil.
