BOGURA, Dec 21, 2025 (BSS) - An unidentified youth was killed and another seriously injured after their motorcycle fell under a truck on the Dhaka–Bogura highway in Shajahanpur upazila of the district on Sunday afternoon.

 The accident occurred around 1.15 pm in B-Block area of the. According to eyewitnesses, the two youths were riding a motorcycle towards Dhaka in a reckless manner when they lost control and went under the wheels of a rice-laden truck.

 The motorcycle caught fire, and one of the truck’s wheels burst with a loud sound. One of the riders died on the spot, while the other sustained serious injuries.

 The injured youth was rescued and taken to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital.

 Officer-in-Charge (OC) Raish Uddin of Sherpur Highway Police Station confirmed the incident.
