KHULNA, Dec 19, 2025 (BSS) - A total of 17 candidates have collected nomination forms for six parliamentary constituencies in Khulna district till Thursday.
According to sources at the office of the Khulna District Returning Officer, the candidates who collected nomination papers on Thursday include Amir Ejaz Khan of BNP and Krishna Nandi of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami for Khulna-1 constituency.
For Khulna-2 constituency, the candidates are Nazrul Islam Manju (BNP), Sheikh Jahangir Hossain Helal (Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami) and Mufti Aman Ullah (Islami Andolon Bangladesh).
In Khulna-3 constituency, Rakibul Islam Babul (BNP), Professor Md Mahfuzur Rahman (Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami), Md Abdul Auwal (Islami Andolon Bangladesh) and Sheikh Arman Hossain (Jatiyatabadi Ganatantrik Andolon) collected nomination forms.
The candidates for Khulna-4 constituency are Azizul Bari Helal (BNP), Md Kabirul Islam (Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami), Hafez Maulana Yunus Ahmed (Islami Andolon Bangladesh) and Azmal Hossain (independent).
For Khulna-5 constituency, Mia Golam Parwar, Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, and Mohammad Ali Azgar Lobi (BNP) collected nomination papers.
Maulana Md Abul Kalam Azad (Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami) and S M Monirul Hasan Bappi (BNP) collected nomination forms for Khulna-6 constituency.
Khulna District Returning Officer and Deputy Commissioner A S M Jamshed Ahmed confirmed the information.
