FENI, Dec 13, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has extended financial assistance for the medical treatment of Sumon Das, a resident of Pubali Jele Para under Fazilpur union in Feni Sadar upazila, who is suffering from a complex liver disease.

The assistance was handed over on Saturday afternoon by BNP National Executive Committee member Mashiur Rahman Biplob at Sumon’s residence.

During the visit, Biplob inquired about Sumon Das’s overall health condition and assured him of continued support to ensure better medical treatment.

Sadar upazila BNP Member Secretary Aman Uddin Kaiser Sabbir, Fazilpur union BNP President Shahjahan Siraji, Vice President Golam Faruk Sintu, General Secretary Ekram Haque Ekram, Organizing Secretary Zia Uddin Dulal, Senior Joint Secretary Mohiuddin Sabuj, and District Volunteer Party Vice President Saidul Karim Bhuiyan, along with other local BNP leaders and activists were present.

Local party leaders expressed gratitude to Tarique Rahman for his humanitarian gesture and reaffirmed their commitment to standing beside people in need.
