NILPHAMARI, Dec 13, 2025 (BSS) - A youth was killed after being run over by a train in Adarshpara area of Sadar upazila here on Saturday morning.
 
The deceased was identified as Hridoy Roy, 25, son of Nirmal Chandra Roy of Ramkala village under Khansama upazila in the neighboring Dinajpur district.
 
According to local sources, Hridoy was walking along the railway tracks around 6.15 am when the Simanto Express train from Khulna ran over him. He died on the spot.
 
Railway Police later recovered the body from the scene. 
 
Officer-in-Charge of Syedpur Railway Police Station Mahmud-un Nabi confirmed the incident.
