MANIKGANJ, Dec 9, 2026 (BSS) - The International Anti-Corruption Day 2025 observed in the district with the theme of " Uniting with Youth Against Corruption: Shaping Tomorrow's Integrity".

Marking the day a colourful rally was brought out in the district town with the participation of government officials and people of different classes.

After the rally a discussion was held at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner. Deputy Commissioner Nazmun Ara Sultana presided over the function.

The function under the auspices of Manikganj District Administration, Anti Corruption Commission and Manikganj District Corruption Prevention Committee was addressed among others by Additional SP Md. Salah Uddin, Assistant Director of Anti Corruption Commission Arif Hossain, District Corruption Prevention Committee President Khabirul Alam Chowdhury and its Secretary Prof Md. Intaj Uddin, President of Consumers Association of Bangladesh Manikganj District Committee ABM Samsunnabi Tulib, Manikganj Press Club President Zahangir Alam Biswas and General Secretary Shahanur Islam.

The speakers urged the people of all walks of lives to raises voice against the corruption and grow awareness among the youth of the nation.
