CHATTOGRAM, Dec 2, 2025 (BSS) - A motorcyclist was killed when a truck hit his motorcycle on the Chattogram-Cox's Bazar highway in Lohagara upazila around midnight on Monday.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Hasan Riyad, 28, a resident of the upazila. 

Dohazari Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mahbubur Rahman said the motorcyclist fell onto the road after being hit by the truck and died on the spot. Locals recovered his body.

The body was handed over to the family after completing legal formalities.
