KHULNA, Nov 27, 2025 (BSS) - A doa mahfil was held in Khulna today seeking the speedy recovery of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.

The event was organized after Maghrib prayers at the Sonadanga Thana BNP office at Taltola Mor on KDA Avenue in the city.

Nazrul Islam Manju, BNP-nominated candidate for the Khulna-2 constituency, joined the program as the chief guest. Former General Secretary of Khulna Metropolitan BNP and former Mayor, valiant freedom fighter Moniruzzaman Moni, presided over the event.

Maulana Mujibur Rahman conducted the doa mahfil.

Doa mahfils will be held in all mosques across the city after Jummah prayers tomorrow seeking the recovery of Begum Khaleda Zia. 

Nazrul Islam Manju and Moniruzzaman Moni urged all BNP leaders, activists, and members of its affiliated and associate organizations to participate in the doa mahfils.
