RAJBARI, Nov 22, 2025 (BSS) - A day-long free medical camp was held on friday at the premises of the district Diabetic Hospital marking the 61st birth anniversary of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.

The programme was organised by the district unit of Chhatra Dal, where four senior physicians of the district volunteered their services and provided free consultations and medicines to patients.

The medical team was led by Dr Md Iqbal Hossain, a noted medicine specialist in Rajbari. Organisers said more than 500 people received treatment at the camp.

Speaking at the inaugural session, District Chhatra Dal President Ariful Islam Roman said they were pleased to stand by the common people through humanitarian service activities on the occasion of Tarique Rahman's birthday.

He said the organisation intends to continue similar healthcare initiatives in the future.
