TANGAIL, Nov 20, 2025 (BSS) - A doa mahfil was organized in the district on Thursday afternoon to mark the 61st birthday of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.
 
The programmme, held at the Court Mosque in the district town, was arranged by the district unit of the BNP.
 
Maulana Amjad Hossain, Imam of the Tangail Court Mosque, led the special prayers seeking the well-being and long life of the BNP leader.
 
BNP Central Publicity Secretary Sultan Salauddin Tuku, District BNP President Hasanuzzamil Shaheen, General Secretary Farhad Iqbal, former Member Secretary Mahmudur Rahman Sanu, former Joint Secretary Kazi Shafiqur Rahman Liton, Sadar Upazila BNP General Secretary Abdur Rouf, District Volunteer Party Convener Tariqul Islam Jhalok, Member Secretary Saleh Mohammad Safi Ethen, and District Chhatra Dal Member Secretary MA Baten were present, among others, at the event.

Leaders and activists from various affiliated organizations of the BNP were also present at the doa mahfil.
