SATKHIRA, April 5, 2024 (BSS) - A man was electrocuted at Kalyanpur village of Pratapnagar union under Assasuni upazila of the district today.

The deceased was identified as Shahrul Sana,30, Son of Abul Bashar, resident of Kalyanpur Maherpara of the upazila. 

According to the family members, Shahrul Sana came in contact with a live electric wire when he was working on electric lines in his own house around 10:30am this morning and he died on the spot, officer-in-charge (OC) of Assasuni Police Station Biswajit Kumar Adhikari said.

UP Chairman Abu Dawood Dhali confirmed the matter.
