PANCHAGARH, March 17, 2024 (BSS) - The 104th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Children Day-2024 was celebrated in the district in a befitting manner today.

In observance of the day, lawmakers Naimuzzaman Bhuiyan Mukta, Advocate Nurul Islam Sujon and Dejia Islam and former MP Mojaharul Houque Prodhan placing floral wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu at Circuit house area this morning.
 
 Upazila Awami League, educational institutions, government and non government offices placing floral wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu.

Besides, Deputy Commissioner of Panchagarh Md Johurul Islam, police super SM Sirajul Huda placed floral wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu at Panchagarh Circuit house area.

The day's programmes began with hoisting of the national flag atop all public and private buildings at dawn.
