CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Dec 23, 2023 (BSS)- Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested three alleged drug peddlers with 323 bottles of phensidyl from Shibganj in the district last night.

The arrestees were Md. Ashraf Ali, 26, Md. Khairul Islam, 22, both of Amnura Tongpara under Chapainawabganj sadar upazila and Md. Majedul Islam, 30 of Namokanchantala village under Gomostapur upazila of the district.

RAB said acting on detective information, an operation team of RAB-5 conducted a raid at Kansat Sikarpur village of Shibganj upazila in the district around 9 pm and arrested the trio with the narcotics.

Later, the elite force handed them over to the police and filed a case.
