CHATTOGRAM, Nov 9, 2023 (BSS)-A mobile court of the district administration has seized 4000 meters of current net, various fishing equipments and a boat in a series of drive from North Madarsha, Garduara and Dhalai Union of Hathazari part of the Halda River here this morning.

The mobile court led by Executive Magistrate and Hathazari Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) ABM Moshiuzzaman in association with police, fisheries officials and the members of the Integrated Development Foundation (IDF).
 
The illegal fishing net was seized in a five-hour-long drive beginning at 7.30 am today. 

The court also seized 4000 meters of current net, various fishing equipments for catching mother fish defying the government ban.
