CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Aug 25, 2023 (BSS) - Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested one person with a foreign pistol, a magazine and four bullets from Shibganj upazila in the district last night.

The arrested person was identified as Abdullah Pranto, 21, of Bonainagar Faridpur village under Faridpur upazila in Pabna district.
 
BGB said, acting on a tip-off, a patrol team of BGB from Sonamasjid border out post conducted a raid in Koilabari truck stand area under Shahbajpur union of Shibganj upazila on Thursday and arrested Abdullah with the arms and ammunition.

Later, the arrested person was handed over to the police of Shibganj thana with a case.
