CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Aug 2, 2023 (BSS) - At the beginning of the month of mourning Awami League and its front organisations took out a mourning procession and rally in Chapainawabganj town.

Leaders and activists from all the five upazilas of the district participated in the rally.

The procession started from Nawabganj Government College premises and visiting the main roads of the town the procession ended at Bangabandhu Chattar where they held a rally.

Acting president of Chapainawabganj district unit of AL Md. Ziaur Rahman MP addressed the rally. He asked all to stand against the terrorism and anarchy of BNP-Jamaat allies.

Besides the AL president vice president of the same Md. Ruhul Amin, general secretary Md. Abdul Wadud MP, joint secretary Dr. Samil Uddin Ahmed Shimul and others were present.
