BOGURA, Jan 30, 2023 (BSS) - A CNG-run auto rickshaw passenger was killed in a road accident in Kaliapukur area under Kahaloo upazila of the district last night.
 
The deceased was identified as Shahidul Islam, 52, son of Ibrahim Khair, a resident of Nischintapur village of the upazila.
 
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kahaloo police station Abdullah Al Mamun said the accident took place in the area when a CNG-run auto-rickshaw collided head-on with a truck around 7.30pm last night, leaving a passenger of the auto rickshaw seriously injured.
 
Later, Shahidul was admitted to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, the OC added.
