DHAKA, Aug 6, 2026 (BSS) - Dhaka University (DU) Inter-Hall Handball Competition (Boys and Girls) got underway today at the university central playground.

Dhaka University Pro-Vice Chancellor (Admin) Prof. Dr. Mohammed Almujaddade Alfasane inaugurated the tournament as the chief guest.

Presided over by DU Handball Committee President Prof. Dr. Md. Shariful Islam, the inaugural ceremony was attended by Physical Education Centre Acting Director Nayna Chowdhury, alongside faculty members and participating athletes.

A total of 12 male residential halls and 4 female residential halls are competing in the separate events of the tournament.
