DHAKA, Feb 26, 2026 (BSS) -Ten men City Club recorded a comfortable 4-0 win over Chittagong Abahani Limited in the Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) football held at Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur today (Thursday).

In the day's match, Opu Rahman scored a brace in the 51st and 58th minutes while Fahim Morshed and Muntasir Rahman supported him with a lone goal each for the winning team in the 17th and 90th minutes respectively.

City Club were reduced to ten men by the referee when Md Mithu was shown red card by the referee. 

The day's win saw, City Club raised their tally to 18 points from eight matches while the port city team remained with their previous collection of four points playing the same number of matches.
