DHAKA, Jan 31, 2026 (BSS) - A brilliant half-century from Captain Azizul Hakim
Tamim steered Bangladesh Under-19 to a respectable 253-9 in their second
Super Six phase match of the Youth World Cup at Harare Sports Club today.

The Bangladesh youngsters had already made exit from the semifinal race but a
victory still is imperative to finish on high.

included six fours. Rizan Hossain made 47.

The duo added 73 runs for the fourth wicket after the top order batters made
a steady start following Hakim's decision to bat first.

Opener Zawad Abrar added 25 to play a key role in giving the side a decent
start when his fellow opener Rifat Beg was dismissed for 15.

No. 10 batter Al Fahad chipped-in-with a fluent 23 not out which was
instrumental in taking the side past the 250-run mark.

Tatenda Chimugoro, Shelton Mazvitorera and Michael Blignaut picked up two
wickets apiece for Zimbabwe.
