DHAKA, Jan 27, 2026 (BSS) -Joypurhat U-17 district football team split point with Chapainawabganj U-17 district football team when their match ended in a tame goalless draw in Padma zone of U-17 National Championship held at Shaheed Samsuddin Stadium in Sirajganj today (Monday).  

Joypurhat however dominated almost the proceeding but failed to take lead due to lack of proper finishing.

Joypurhat captain Sourav Ali was named the player of the match for his impressive performance.

In the second match of the day also held at the same venue, host Sirajganj U-17 district team edged past Naogaon U-17 district team by a solitary goal scored by Sabbir Hossain in the 50th minute of the match.

He was later named the player of the match for his outstanding performance.
