DHAKA, Jan 8, 2026 (BSS) – Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Mohammedan Sporting Club’s devoted supporter Ataur Rahman Ata.

Ata breathed his last at around 11:00 pm on Wednesday due to age-related complications while undergoing treatment at a hospital in the capital.

In a condolence message, BFF President Tabith Awal, along with the senior vice president, vice presidents, executive committee members, general secretary, standing committee members, officials and staff of the federation, expressed profound grief over Ata’s death and conveyed heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family.
