DHAKA, Jan 3, 2026 (BSS) - Fortis Football Club beat PWD Sports Club by 2-0 goals in the last round of first phase of Bangladesh Football League (BFL) held at Bashundhara Kings arena in the capital today (Saturday) .
Gambian forward Pa Babou broke the deadlock scoring the first goal for Fortis in the 43rd minute.
After the breather, Nigerian forward Onyekachi Okator sealed the victory scoring the second goal for Fortis in the 90+1st minute of the match.
With this win, Fortis Football Club jointly finished in top of the league table with Bashundhara Kings along with 18 points from nine matches while PWD Sports Club, who stayed relegation zone at ninth position, remained with their previous collection of seven points playing the same number of matches.
