DHAKA, Sept 9, 2026 (BSS) - The government has confirmed the services of 25 officers serving as Assistant Secretaries (Non-Cadre) after they fulfilled the required conditions.

The Public Administration Ministry issued a gazette notification today confirming their appointments with effect from their respective dates of joining.

According to the notification, the officers completed the required terms and conditions under Rules 6(1)(b), 6(3)(a), sub-rule (4), and 7(1)(b) of the Bangladesh Secretariat (Non-Cadre Gazetted Officers and Non-Gazetted Employees) Recruitment Rules, 2014.

The notification said the orders would take effect immediately in the public interest.
