DHAKA, Sept 2, 2026 (BSS) - A colorful rally was held in the Dhaka-17 constituency today to mark the 48th founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).

BNP and its affiliated organizations in the constituency organized the rally, which started from Banani Graveyard Road around 3 pm. The procession passed through different important roads in the city before concluding at Mohakhali Bus Stand.

A large number of leaders and activists from Dhaka-17 took part in the rally, carrying banners, festoons and placards. They also chanted various slogans highlighting the party chief and its founding anniversary.

A brief gathering was held after the procession, where the speakers recalled the spirit and significance of the BNP's founding anniversary. They also expressed their determination to strengthen the movement for democracy and restoration of people's voting rights.
