DHAKA, Sept 02, 2026 (BSS) – The government today promoted additional secretaries Dr A N M Bazlur Rashid, AKM Benjamin Riazi and Yasmin Begum to the rank of secretary.

Separate notifications have been signed by deputy secretary of the public administration ministry Jati Prue in these regard. 

One of the notifications said additional secretary of the public administration ministry Dr A N M Bazlur Rashid has been promoted to the rank of secretary and posted to the health services division.

Another notification said that additional secretary of Industries Ministry AKM Benjamin Riazi was promoted to the rank of secretary and made secretary of the Medical Education and Family Welfare Division.

Besides, the government promoted additional secretary of the Cabinet Division Yasmin Begum to the rank of secretary and posted her to the cultural affairs ministry.

The promotion orders issued for public interest will come into effect immediately, added the notification.
