DHAKA, Aug 27, 2026 (BSS) - The Traffic Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed 4,118 cases against traffic law violators during the last two days in the capital.

According to DMP media and public relations division press release issued here today, a total of 958 vehicles were dumped and 402 vehicles were towed during the drives. 
 
It said the Traffic-Ramna Division filed 241, Traffic-Lalbagh Division 368 cases, Traffic-Motijheel Division 426 cases, Traffic-Wari Division 592 cases, Traffic-Tejgaon Division 380 cases, Traffic-Mirpur Division 555 cases, Traffic-Uttara Division 944 cases and Traffic-Gulshan Division 612 cases.

It said that the DMP's traffic enforcement drives would continue across the capital to ensure discipline on roads.
