DHAKA, Aug 23, 2026 (BSS) - BNP national standing committee member and former DUCSU VP Amanullah Aman MP today made a surprise visit to Hazratpur High School in Keraniganj, conveying Prime Minister Tarique Rahman's message to students and urging them to maintain discipline and work for a bright future.

During the visit, he inspected classroom activities, teacher and student attendance and the overall disciplinary situation.

Expressing dissatisfaction over low student attendance, Amanullah Aman instructed the head teacher to change the Grade Nine class teacher and asked teachers to contact parents daily regarding absent students and visit their homes if necessary.

"The lack of accountability that existed for the past 17 years will no longer be allowed to continue," he said.

Addressing students, he urged them to achieve success in life, become senior officials or successful businesspeople and bring honour to Bangladesh at home and abroad.

He later administered an oath to the students to attend school on time, study attentively, respect their parents and teachers and become capable citizens.
