DHAKA, Aug 12, 2026 (BSS) - The government today transferred three 
Superintendents of Police (SPs) to three different districts across the 
country.

The Home Affairs Ministry today issued a transfer order here today saying 
that Gazipur, Kushtia and Khulna districts get new SPs.

In the notification, SP of Kushtia Mohammad Jasim Uddin has been posted as SP 
of Gazipur district while SP of the Sylhet Range DIG Office Md Aminul Islam 
has been posted as SP of Kushtia district.

Besides, SP of the Police Staff College Sarker Omar Faruk has been 
transferred to Khulna as SP, it said.

Meanwhile, the same notification transferred three SPs and posted to new 
units of Bangladesh Police.
