DHAKA, Aug 9, 2026 (BSS) - State-owned mobile network operator Teletalk Bangladesh Limited today launched three Data and Voice packages for people living in haor, hilly and coastal remote areas, along with a special data offer for students and freelancers.
The packages were formally inaugurated through a digital platform at an event held at the Teletalk Bangladesh Limited premises as part of the 180-day action plan directed by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, said a press release.
Teletalk Managing Director Nurul Mabud Chowdhury inaugurated the offers. Senior officials of the company were also present.
The three specialised Data and Voice packages, introduced under the "Pranto" series, are "Pranto Basic", "Pranto Smart" and "Pranto Connect".
The packages have been priced affordably based on customers' needs and usage patterns to facilitate voice calling and data services for people in remote and underserved areas.
Teletalk has also launched a special data offer for students and freelancers, providing 20 GB of data at Tk 229 with a validity of 30 days.
Customers can avail themselves of the offers by dialling designated USSD codes or recharging the specified amount.
Detailed information on the offers, applicable terms and conditions, USSD codes and other instructions will be available on Teletalk's official Facebook page and website.
Teletalk said it would continue introducing customer-friendly products and services to ensure affordable, quality and need-based digital services for people from all walks of life.
