DHAKA, Aug 31, 2026 (BSS) - Top leaders of the Nationalist Like-minded Alliance, a key partner of BNP in the simultaneous movement against the fascist government, today greeted and congratulated BNP Acting Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi with flowers. 

The alliance leaders met him at the BNP central office in Naya Paltan here at noon.

Nationalist Like-minded Alliance Chief Coordinator and Bangladesh Muslim League (BML) President Barrister Nasim Khan, Alliance Spokesperson and Bangladesh Democratic Party Chairman S M Shahadat, Gonodol Chairman and valiant freedom fighter A T M Gholam Mowla Chowdhury, Bangladesh NAP Chairman M N Shawon Sadeqi, National People's Party (NPP) Chairman Mostafizur Rahman Mostafa, National Democratic Party (NDP) Chairman Abdullah-Al-Harun (Sohel), Democratic League (DL) General Secretary Khokon Chandra Das, JAGPA President Zakir Hossain Riaz, NDP Secretary General Jamil Ahmed, Bangladesh NAP Secretary General Engineer Abdul Barek, Bangladesh Democratic Party Secretary General Saiful Islam, BML Secretary General Rezwan Murtuza, DL Vice President Mahbub Alam, and NPP Joint Secretary General Sohel Rana were present during the visit. 

At the greeting exchange, Rizvi said the Nationalist Like-minded Alliance had intensified the movement by standing alongside BNP in the movement to oust fascist Sheikh Hasina.

He expressed hope that the alliance would continue to stand by BNP to strengthen democracy and work for the welfare of the country and its people.

Chief Coordinator Barrister Nasim Khan said the alliance would stand by BNP to make the country prosperous while safeguarding Bangladesh's independence and sovereignty.
