CHATTOGRAM, Aug 4, 2026 (BSS) - Chattogram Education Board has announced the updated schedule for the rescheduled Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination of 2026. 
 
As per the revised timetable, the postponed written examinations will commence on August 20. 
This updated schedule was published in a notification signed by Professor Parvez Sajjad Chowdhury, the Examination Controller of the Chattogram Education Board, on Tuesday, August 4. 
 
According to the new timetable, the postponed examinations will begin with the English (Compulsory) Second Paper on August 20. Later, the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) examination is scheduled for August 22, followed by the Physics First Paper, Accountancy First Paper, and Logic First Paper on August 24, with the corresponding Second Paper examination taking place on August 27. 

Furthermore, Geography Paper I is set for August 29, along with Arabic and Pali Paper I in the afternoon, and Geography Paper II and Arabic and Pali Paper II also in the afternoon. On September 2, the examinations for Chemistry Paper I, Islamic History and Culture Paper I, History Paper I, Home Management and Family Life Paper I, and Production Management and Marketing Paper I will take place.
 
The second examination for these subjects is scheduled for September 5. Besides, Economics Paper I and Engineering Drawing and Workshop Practice Paper I will take place on September 7, while Economics Paper II and Engineering Drawing and Workshop Practice Paper II are set for September 9. According to the board's directives, the morning shift examination will occur from 10 am to 1 pm, and the afternoon shift will be from 2 pm to 5 pm.
 
Candidates are required to arrive at their assigned seats 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the examination. The notification also indicates that the Engineering Drawing and Workshop Practice Paper I examination will be conducted on September 7 at the candidates' respective colleges. On that day, question papers will be retrieved from the main center at 9 am, and the examination will be overseen by the principal of the relevant college. 
 
In addition, the practical examinations for all subjects must be completed between September 9 and September 18.
