DHAKA, Aug 3, 2026 (BSS) - Police arrested 33 people in separate anti-crime operations in Dhaka's Turag and Banshal areas on Sunday.

According to a Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) press release issued today, Turag police arrested 15 suspects, while Banshal police arrested 18 others during raids carried out in crime-prone areas under their respective jurisdictions.

Those arrested include suspects wanted in pending cases, individuals with outstanding arrest warrants and others allegedly involved in various criminal activities.

Legal proceedings against the detainees are underway.
