DHAKA, Aug 2, 2026 (BSS) - Police arrested 31 people, including wanted and warrant-listed suspects, during a special anti-crime drive conducted by the Mirpur Model Police Station under the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in the capital today.

According to a police press release, the operation was carried out in several crime-prone areas under the Mirpur Model Police Station as part of an intensified drive against criminal activities.

The arrestees include individuals accused in regular criminal cases, warrant-listed fugitives and others allegedly involved in various offences.

The DMP said such special drives will continue as part of its ongoing efforts to maintain law and order and ensure public safety in the capital.
