DHAKA, July 16, 2026 (BSS)- State Minister for Health and Family Welfare Dr M A Muhit has said the e-health card is near to implementation to bring a fundamental transformation into the country's health sector.

He made the remark at a seminar held at the conference room of the Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) in the capital this afternoon, said a press release.

Muhit said the present government is placing special emphasis on a digital roadmap and use of artificial intelligence (AI) to reorganize the country's overall healthcare system and strengthen primary healthcare.

In particular, priority has been given to strengthen primary healthcare and prepare a digital roadmap for the entire health system, he added.
