DHAKA, May 12, 2026 (BSS) - A new central executive committee of the 32nd BCS General Education Cadre Forum has been formed for the next two years.

The committee was approved unanimously at a meeting held on May 9 at the National Academy for Educational Management (NAEM), according to a press release issued today.

Assistant Director (Administration) of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) Md Rezaul Karim was elected president, while Md Jobaer Khan, Attached Officer, Assistant Professor (Accounting) of the Non-Government Teacher Employee Retirement Benefit Board (NGERBB) was elected general secretary.

The committee includes Md Khayshed Alam, Kamrun Nahar, Tamanna Sultana, HM Ashik Mahamud, SM Saifuddin, Samson Hansda, Md Aminul Islam, Safiqul Islam, Md Saifur Rahman Bhuiya, Md Mizanur Rahman and Shilpi Rani Roy as vice-presidents representing different regions of the country.

Jinat Jahan and Md Oliul Islam were elected joint secretaries, while Hasina Islam was made organising secretary. 

Md Ferdous Parvez, Roksana Afroz and FM Shahabuddin Rumon were named office, publicity and finance secretaries respectively.

The newly elected leaders pledged to work collectively for protecting the rights of education cadre officials and improving the quality of education nationwide.
