MADARIPUR, May 8, 2026 (BSS) - Helen Zerin Khan, Member of Parliament from a reserved women's seat and BNP Women's Wing senior joint general secretary, was accorded a reception in Madaripur today.

The programme was held in the Laker Par area of the district town in the presence of BNP leaders, activists and supporters.

Speaking on the occasion, the lawmaker said she would work for the development of Madaripur, including efforts to establish a medical college and university and pledged to help combat drug abuse in the district.

Earlier, she was also given similar receptions in Shibchar and Rajoir upazilas. The event ended with a floral reception.
