DHAKA, May 8, 2026 (BSS) - Mirpur Model Thana Police have arrested 33 individuals involved in various criminal activities during a special drive conducted in different crime-prone areas under the jurisdiction of the police station in the last 24 hours.

According to police sources, the operation was carried out as part of intensified efforts to maintain law and order in the Mirpur area.

A total of 33 people were arrested during the drive, including Nasir Hossain, Rifat, Shams, Abdur Rahim, Nur Amin and others.

Police said the arrestees were detained from different locations within Mirpur Model Thana area on various charges.

All the arrested individuals have been sent to court, the police added.
