DHAKA, May 7, 2026 (BSS) - The Bangla Academy has announced the Rabindra Puraskar 2026 ahead of the 165th birth anniversary of Bishwakabi Rabindranath Tagore.

Writer and Rabindra researcher Professor Nripendra Lal Das and Rabindra Sangeet exponent Bulbul Islam have been nominated for their contributions to Rabindra research and music respectively.

The award giving ceremony will be held at the Bangla Academy on May 11.
