DHAKA, May 4, 2026 (BSS) - A total of 74 individuals involved in various criminal activities were arrested during special drives conducted by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Tejgaon Division.

According to a DMP press release, the arrests were made on Sunday during routine operations in different crime-prone areas under the division. 

Among those arrested, 15 were from Tejgaon Police Station, 10 from Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station, 9 each from Hatirjheel and Adabor police stations, 21 from Mohammadpur Police Station, and 10 from Tejgaon Industrial Area Police Station.

The arrestees have been produced before the court.
