DHAKA, May 4, 2026 (BSS) – The newly elected executive committee of the Bangladesh Network Operators Group (bdNOG) for the 2026–2027 term has assumed office, with Fakhrul Alam Pappu as President and Barkatul Alam Biplob as General Secretary.

The new executive committee has been formed to oversee the policy formulation and day-to-day operations of the organization of network engineers and internet operators, said a press release today.

Experienced professionals from various institutions have been entrusted with key positions in the new committee. 

Among the top members, Suman Kumar Saha has been appointed as Chair of the Program Committee (PC) and Shayla Sharmin as Chair of the Fellowship Committee (FC).

Other members of the committee include Saimon Sohel Barai, Md. Abdul Auwal, Mahbub Hasan Pavel, Debashish Das, Md. Selim Reza and Md. Ariful Islam.

bdNOG is a non-profit voluntary organization of network professionals working in the country’s telecommunications sector, internet service providers, banks and various information technology fields.

The organization regularly arranges training workshops and conferences to develop the country’s internet infrastructure and enhance technical skills.
