DHAKA, May 4, 2026(BSS)-After a gap of 12 years, a new executive committee of the 30th BCS (Police) Service Association has been formed, a press release said here today. 

According to the release, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Md. Zahidul Islam has been elected as President and ADC of the DMP SM Mizanur Rahman has been elected as General Secretary.

Another ADC of the same unit Rafiquddin Mohammad Zobaer has been elected as Senior Vice President, while ADC Ahmed Ali, Md. Jasim Uddin, Azmila Nasrin Chowdhury, Md. Roknuzzaman Sarker and Arafatul Islam, were made vice presidents of the committee. 

Meanwhile, Additional Superintendent of Police (Adi.SP) of Narayanganj District Tasmin Akter has been elected Senior Joint General Secretary of the committee.

The other Joint Secretaries are - Hasibul Islam, Md. Tarikul Islam, Mohammad Aftab Uddin, Bhaskar Saha, and Mashur Rahman Mondal.

Md. Fazlur Rahman, ADC of the DMP, has been elected as Organizational Secretary while Yasir Arafat, Yasina Ferdous, Kazi Humayun Rashid and Md. Abu Khayer, were made assistant organizing secretary of the organisation. 
On the other hand, ADC of the DMP Md. Sajjad Hossain has been elected as the Treasurer while Md. Jakirul Hasan has been elected as Office Secretary.

The committee was formed at the Police Officers’ Mess in the capital.
