DHAKA, May 4, 2026 (BSS) - In an operation, police on Sunday arrested 22 individuals from crime-prone areas from the capital's Jatrabari Thana areas.

According to a police press release, the drive led to the recovery of approximately 80 kilograms of cannabis and the seizure of a minibus. 

Of those arrested, 14 were involved in regular cases, four in previous cases, one was held under an arrest warrant, and three were prosecuted through a mobile court, the release said.

All detainees have been sent to court for further legal proceedings.
