DHAKA, May 3, 2026 (BSS) - The Tejgaon Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested 80 individuals in a coordinated drive against various crimes across multiple police stations on Saturday.

The operation targeted crime-prone areas within the division, said a police press release today.

Among those arrestees, 10 were from Tejgaon Police Station, 17 from Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, 7 from Hatirjheel, 15 from Adabor, 27 from Mohammadpur, and 4 from Tejgaon Industrial Thana areas.

All detainees have been sent to court for legal proceedings.
