DHAKA, Feb 18, 2026 (BSS) - The government has appointed Agriculturist Md. Younus Ali as the Assistant Personal Secretary (APS) and Md. Nabab Hossain as the Personal Officer (PO) to the Minister of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives.

In the new cabinet, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has been given the charge of the ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives.

Md. Younus Ali will serve as the Minister's Assistant Personal Secretary, while Md. Nabab Hossain has been appointed as the Personal Officer at the same ministry.
