CHANDPUR, Jan 31, 2026 (BSS) - Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Professor
Mia Golam Parwar today said if the 11-party alliance wins a majority of
seats, a society of good governance will be established.
"If the 11-party alliance wins the upcoming polls, we will build a society
where people of all religions, including Hindus, Muslims, Christians, and
Buddhists will be able to live with happiness, peace, and prosperity through
equal justice and full rights," he said.
He made these remarks while speaking as the chief guest at an election rally
of Maulana Bilal Hossain Miajhi, the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate and
11-party alliance nominee for the Chandpur-4 (Faridganj) constituency.
Calling upon voters to cast their ballots in favor of the "Dari Palla" (the
scales) symbol and "Yes" vote in the referendum, Golam Parwar said if Jamaat
is entrusted with the responsibility of running the government in the
upcoming election, a new humane Bangladesh will be built under the leadership
of party Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman.
He said there are no allegations of corruption or partisanship against them.
Maulana Bilal Hossain Miajhi, Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami's Chandpur district
unit and the alliance candidate chaired the programme.

Yunus Helal; and its Secretary Md. Shakhawat Hossain, among others, also
spoke.
