DINAJPUR, Jan 6, 2026 (BSS) - Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain, Standing Committee member of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), visited the grave of July martyred Ashiqul Islam in Nawabganj upazila of the district today.

He was accompanied by leaders of the district and upazila BNP and representatives of its affiliated organizations.

Md. Tariqul Islam, acting president of Nawabganj Upazila BNP, confirmed the visit at 4:30 pm on Tuesday.

According to him, after Zuhr prayers, Dr. Zahid Hossain participated in a special prayer at the grave along with BNP leaders and activists. During the visit, he met with the father of Shaheed Ashiqul Islam, Md. Faridul Islam, and other relatives to inquire about their well-being.
