BOGURA, Dec 29, 2025 (BSS) – A nomination paper for the Bogura-6 constituency has been submitted on behalf of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman to contest the 13th National Parliament election.  

The nomination paper was submitted on behalf of Tarique Rahman on Monday afternoon to Deputy Commissioner and Returning Officer Taufiqur Rahman by senior leaders of the party’s local unit.

District BNP president Rezaul Karim Badsha, acting general secretary Mosharraf Hossain, former general secretary Ali Azgar Talukder Hena, former president VP Saiful Islam, among others, were present during the submission.

A large number of BNP leaders and activists from the district and its affiliated organizations also gathered on the occasion.

Speaking to journalists after the submission, BNP president Rezaul Karim Badsha said Tarique Rahman has led the party’s movement against the Awami League government for the past 17 years and has now been nominated as the BNP candidate for the Bogura-6 constituency.
