NARSINGDI, Dec 29, 2025 (BSS) - BNP-nominated candidate and party Standing Committee member Dr Abdul Moin Khan today submitted his nomination papers for the Narsingdi-2 (Palash) constituency to contest the 13th National Parliament elections.

He submitted the papers in the afternoon at the office of the Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Assistant Returning Officer Ishtiaq Ahmed.

Meanwhile, candidates nominated by different political parties, including BNP, Jamaat-e-Islami, Islami Andolan Bangladesh and Swatantra (independent) candidates, also submitted their nomination papers for five constituencies of the district in a festive atmosphere.

After submitting his nomination papers, Dr Moin Khan said democracy is the solution to all problems and emphasized the need for democratic practices to resolve the country’s challenges. 

Stating that BNP is a liberal political party committed to establishing human rights, he said democracy would be restored only through the formation of an accountable government elected through a fair and democratic voting process.
